Cardinal Labs, a division of Cardinal Ambulance Services, is now serving the community to provide COVID 19 testing options. For fast service, come to our centally located office on Oyster Point Rd. in Newport News, VA
Walk-In's Accepted
Based on availability, walk in hours are from 9am to 3pm. Give us a call when you arrive to our building and we will get your appointment set up. No need to leave your car.
No Extra Fees
HRSA is no longer providing free tests. We will update this site if anything changes. Cardinal will also file your insurance plan for the cost of the test when applicable.

Rapid Antigen Test
Cardinal Labs is requesting that you provide the documentation necessary to file an insurance claim to cover the cost of your test. If you are unable to provide insurance information or are uninsured, the cost of your rapid antigen test will be billed to HRSA for the uninsured. The cost of the test and clinic visit is $129
Rapid (RT PCR or NAAT)
The RT PCR or RT NAAT test that will provide you results within 24 hours is available to you at a cost of $150.
COVID Test (Ready to Travel)
The RT PCR or RT NAAT test that will provide you with results within 2 hours is available to you at a cost of $275.
